 We Believe

That there is one, undivided, true and living and eternal God. His infinite nature is revealed to us as a Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That the entire human race has sinned and fallen short of God's glory, and we are in need of salvation. That salvation is by God's grace through faith, and for the sake of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ who died for us.

That through the perfect, sinless life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension into heaven of Jesus Christ, salvation was purchased. God has accepted the blood of Jesus for the redemption of all who will " … confess with [their] mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in [their] heart that God raised him from the dead, [...] will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." [Romans 10:9-11 NIV]

That this faith is based on the Word of God, which God has preserved for us in Holy Scripture. The Holy Scriptures are contained in both the Old and New Testaments, and combined reveal God's plan for the salvation of sinful man through Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ, comes by hearing and receiving the Word of God. Salvation is received by faith in Him and through God's grace and mercy.

That Christ will come again, and at His coming, all shall be resurrected to give account of their deeds. Christ, the Righteous Judge, will judge both the living and the dead.

That in keeping with Jesus' promise, the Holy Spirit is at work in the world today. He is working in the world to convince people of sin and bring them to repentance. In the life of the believer He provides assurance of salvation, comfort, and power to perform Christ's Great Commission. He gives spiritual gifts to individual believers, as He wills, for the common good of the body of Christ and the edification of all.

Therefore:

We are committed
to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
through our teaching, witness and worship.
