continues her teaching, mentoring and the distribution of books she has found. She is already thinking about things for Lent and Easter and how she can help with those celebrations/.

Luckie

Staying busy with the teaching schedule, and the honey-do list, things stay pretty regular for Luckie. Of course he also does website maintenance, and baking, as needed.

Luckie had a bout with the Guillain-Barre syndrome - Pronounced: "ghee'-YAN - bar'- RAY". He is still "living with" some of the numbness, which is now mainly in the bottoms of his feet.
It began with a quick on-set of numbness in hands and feet, accompanied quickly with difficulty with swallowing and severe loss of energy. It was the beginning of "Guillain-Barre syndrome", which, though somewhat rare, is generally serious. You can read about it by clicking on one of these:

Our advice is don't do what Luckie did, and wait two weeks before seeing a Doctor. Generally, this malady requires immediate admission to an ICU and, surviving that, months of physical therapy. In his case the onset, though quick, was very mild. There is, generally, a very high rate of recovery, even among people with very serious cases. Our Doctors were surprised at Luckie's recovery - because of no ICU and no physical therapy. However, he is still plagued with a loss of strength in hands and legs. But, we are so grateful to God for his mercy.

More amazing - we are now in contact with Barbara Unkle Anken (Huckels) - (not pictured below). This was possible through Carolyn P. - and we are grateful. More news as we chat and catch up.

Through diligent effort Rick Cotner (now in Missouri - 2nd from left, front row below) and Tim Lewis (now in California - between Penny & Leslye on back row, below) have been found. I will post more news here as it comes available and as I chat with them. Our thanks to all who helped.
